What Do You Do with the MAD that You Feel?

What Do You Do with the Mad that You Feel?

What do you do with the mad that you feel? An innocent question asked by a child years ago to Fred Rogers. That question is still being asked today by kids across the world.

Only thing is, it's not always asked in such a direct manner. Often, it looks like screaming, yelling, hitting, sassing...and yet, the question remains. What do you do with the mad that you feel?

How Would You Answer?

Would you know 10 ways to answer that question for a child?

What would you say?

How would you help?

Kids are looking to you to support, guide and inform them about how to handle all the tough stuff in life. Angry feelings being one of them.

If you haven't seen this clip of Mr. Rogers testifying before the Senate, treat yourself!

Today would have been Mr. Roger's 89th birthday. He did much for social-emotional development, long before it became a common phrase.

Celebrate Mr. Rogers

Celebrate his birthday by helping a child manage Anxious, Angry and Over-the-Top feelings, without punishing them for not knowing a better way. When they know better, they are empowered to do better. We are the key to helping them get there quicker!
